As a philanthropist, children hold a special place in Oei’s heart. Mindful that not every child in the world has the good fortune to grow up in a well-developed and prosperous country and receive a quality education as her daughter has, Oei sponsors the education and well being of several children in underdeveloped communities through the World Vision Organisation.
In addition, she regularly organises charity events and donates funds to the elderly and children. By highlighting the importance of philanthropy in her talks, Oei hopes to inspire others to build business empires that place the well-being of the less fortunate at the heart of all they do.
